It’s another happy Thanksgiving at the Pascal’s when Marty brings his fiancée Lesly home to meet the family. His sister, Jackie O, may be off her medication, but that doesn’t become a big problem until the Kennedy reenactments begin. Wendy MacLeod’s brilliant black comedy walks a thin tightrope between the absurd and the insane, the creepy and the colorful. Her characters inhabit a world of their own creation simultaneously entirely plausible and almost unimaginable.
